Well, I think we're officially in the swing of summer. Cyndie and the kids are over at the pool swimming. Emma couldn't wait to go. She lost one of her swimsuits at her swim lesson last week, so we went and got a new one last night (while Tim and Cyndie went to the library). Man, does that girl like to shop! Anyway, she wanted to try out her new suit, so they are off. The weather the last several days has been beautiful. In the low to mid 70s with very little humidity. Later this afternoon, Cyndie and the kids will go to the coop farm and pick up our vegetables for this week. Since we were gone, this will be the first batch. It will be interesting to see what we end up with!
Later this week my Uncle John and Auntie Diane will come for an overnight, then Jane comes for the long weekend. This follows up our vacation to CA, but precedes the Chicago trip, Emma's day camp, a visit with Jim and Laurie, etc. It should be a busy summer. Somehow I think we'll find plenty of time to go swimming at both the pool and the lake, however!
